Nancy joined the Foundation’s Donor Services team in December 2020. She brings to this role a decade of experience as a fundraiser and a passion for working with individuals and families to explore the intersection of their personal philanthropic goals and community needs. Prior to this, she was a fellow with our Center for Philanthropy.

Before joining the Foundation, Nancy worked for more than 10 years with Penland School of Craft in western North Carolina where she held numerous positions of increasing importance, including development associate for grants and institutional giving, interim director and development associate for individual giving. Nancy’s passions include the arts, global citizenship, and social justice with an emphasis on women, girls, immigrants and refugees. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and German from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has earned a master’s degree in international development and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Pittsburgh.

Nancy lives in the Borough of Etna with her husband and two daughters.
